The Christ University BBA Program is one of the popular undergraduate management programs for students who want to build a career in business, management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship and related fields. Admission to the BBA program is generally based on the Christ University Entrance Test, commonly referred to as CUET in the context of Christ University admissions. This is different from CUET UG conducted by NTA. The Christ University selection process usually includes the entrance test, micro presentation, personal interview and academic performance. Students planning to apply for Christ University BBA should understand the eligibility criteria, selection process, syllabus and paper pattern before starting their preparation.

The Admission Process for CUET is in 2 Stages

Stage 1 Christ University Entrance Test (CUET) 

Stage 2 Micro presentation, Skill Assessment, and Personal Interview. 

Steps to Apply for the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET)

Students can apply for the Christ University Entrance Test through the official Christ University admission portal.

The approximate application form fee is usually around ₹1,500 to ₹1,800, depending on the program. After final selection, students may also have to pay a separate non-refundable admission registration fee of ₹8,000 along with the course fee.

Steps to apply:

  1. Visit the official Christ University website: christuniversity.in
  2. Go to the Admissions section and click on Apply Online.
  3. Register using a valid email ID, mobile number and basic personal details.
  4. Login to the Christ University admission portal using the registered credentials.
  5. Select the desired BBA program, campus and admission session carefully.
  6. Fill the online application form with personal details, academic details, category details and contact information.
  7. Upload the required documents such as photograph, signature, Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 details and category certificate, if applicable.
  8. Pay the application form fee online.
  9. Submit the form and download/save the application confirmation page for future reference.
  10. After successful application, check the portal regularly for the Entrance Test admit card, test schedule and further selection process details.
  11. Appear for the Christ University Entrance Test as per the allotted date and time.
  12. After the entrance test, complete the remaining selection rounds such as Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation and Personal Interview, as mentioned in the admit card or selection schedule.
  13. Check the final selection result on the Christ University admission portal.
  14. If selected, pay the required fee within the given deadline and complete document verification and admission formalities.

Eligibility Criteria for CUET

Candidates must have passed Class 12 / 10+2 / HSC or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Students appearing for Class 12 can also apply, provided they complete their qualifying examination and meet the eligibility requirements at the time of admission.

For regular programs such as BBA, BBA (Hons) and BBA Tourism & Travel Management, candidates need to have passed Class 12.

For some specialized BBA programs, additional eligibility conditions may apply. For example, BBA Finance and International Business generally requires at least 55% marks in Class 12.

For programs such as BBA Decision Science, candidates may need at least 60% marks in Class 12 from Science or Commerce stream with Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science as one of the subjects.

Students from international boards such as IB and GCE/Edexcel can also apply, provided they meet the equivalence requirements prescribed by Christ University.

Final admission is subject to meeting the eligibility criteria, performance in the selection process, document verification and fulfilment of all admission requirements.

Paper Pattern for CUET

The Christ University Entrance Test for BBA is conducted in online mode. The test consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Marking Scheme:

Candidates get 1 mark for every correct answer. For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted. No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.

What is Micro Presentation (MP)?

Micro-Presentation (MP) is a short speaking round in the Christ University selection process. It is similar to an extempore round where the candidate is given a topic and has to speak on it for around 90 seconds.

The purpose of the Micro-Presentation is to evaluate the candidate’s communication skills, confidence, clarity of thought, general awareness, logical thinking and ability to present ideas in a structured manner.

 

Format of Micro-Presentation:

The candidate is given a topic by the panel.

The candidate has to speak on the topic for a short duration, usually around 90 seconds.

The topic may be based on current affairs, social issues, business, education, technology, economy, youth-related topics or general awareness.

What is Skill Assessment?

Skill Assessment (SA) is a short evaluation round conducted as part of the Christ University selection process. It is used to assess a candidate’s basic written communication, analytical thinking and ability to express ideas clearly.

 

Format of Skill Assessment:

In this round, candidates may be given a short topic, question, case, statement or situation.

They are expected to write a brief response within the given time limit.

The task may test writing ability, clarity of thought, grammar, reasoning, subject awareness and presentation of ideas.

What is a Personal Interview?

Personal Interview (PI) is an interaction round conducted as part of the Christ University selection process. It is used to understand the candidate’s personality, communication skills, academic background, confidence, goals and overall suitability for the selected program.

 

Format of Personal Interview:

In this round, the candidate is interviewed by a panel.

The interview may include questions related to the candidate’s introduction, academics, interests, strengths, weaknesses, career goals and reasons for choosing Christ University and the selected course.

For BBA programs, candidates may also be asked basic questions related to business, current affairs, general awareness and management aptitude.
