About Us
KATEC (Kshirsagar’s Aptitude Training and Education Centre) is a Pune-based coaching institute for MBA entrance exams, BBA entrance exams and Aptitude/Placement Training. Founded by Mr Amit Kshirsagar, an alumnus of SIBM Pune, KATEC helps students prepare for aptitude-based entrance exams and career readiness programs.
We provide preparation for major MBA entrance exams such as CAT, SNAP, NMAT, MAH MBA CET, XAT, CMAT and other management entrance exams. For undergraduate aspirants, we offer coaching for BBA entrance exams such as IPMAT, JIPMAT, SET, NPAT, MAH BBA CET, CUET and other aptitude-based exams.
KATEC also offers placement training covering quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, data interpretation, verbal ability, resume building, group discussions and personal interviews. Our focus is on concept clarity, regular practice, mock tests and performance analysis so that students can prepare strategically for admissions and campus placements.

Founder of KATEC
The Founder of KATEC is Mr. Amit Kshirsagar. He is an alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune (SIBM Pune), one of India’s leading business schools. He founded KATEC in April 2023 with the vision of helping students prepare strategically for aptitude-based entrance exams and career opportunities.
Before starting KATEC, he gained teaching and management experience in the education sector at Proton–Unacademy, Pune. He also has corporate experience with LTI Mindtree, Mumbai.
He is a Computer Engineering graduate from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology (SPIT), Mumbai. He has scored 99%ile in All MBA entrance exams such as CAT, SNAP, NMAT, MBA CET and CMAT, and has also cleared leading banking and government job aptitude exams such as SBI PO, IBPS PO, SSC and SBI Junior Associate.
