The TAPMI Bengaluru BBA Program is a four-year BBA Honours program offered by T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) at its Bengaluru campus. The program is designed for students who want to build a strong foundation in business, management, leadership, analytics, entrepreneurship and related areas after Class 12. Admission to the program is based on the selection process prescribed by TAPMI, which may include entrance exam scores, academic performance, Statement of Purpose and interview. BBA Admission Process at TAPMI

Stage 1: Application, Entrance Test Score and Shortlisting

Candidates must first apply online through the TAPMI admission portal. TAPMI generally accepts only online applications.

Additional TAPMI MET Fee: ₹1,200, if the student wants to appear for TAPMI MET

Candidates should submit details of at least one accepted entrance test score. TAPMI accepts scores from exams such as:

Students who have not appeared for other accepted exams can choose TAPMI MET as an entrance test option.

 

After the application is submitted, TAPMI shortlists candidates based on academic profile, entrance test score and overall application details.

TAPMI MET (Manipal Entrance Test) Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme

TAPMI MET, also referred to as Manipal Entrance Test (MET), is one of the accepted entrance test options for admission to the TAPMI Bengaluru BBA Honours Program and TAPMI IPM-related programs. Students who have not appeared for exams like IPMAT, JIPMAT, JEE Main, SAT or CLAT can use MET as an entrance test option for TAPMI admissions.

Stage 2: Interview, Micro-Presentation and Final Selection

Shortlisted candidates are invited for the next selection round, which generally includes an online interview and micro-presentation.

The interview and micro-presentation round usually evaluates the candidate’s communication skills, confidence, clarity of thought, academic background, general awareness, personality and suitability for the BBA program.

Final selection is based on the candidate’s overall profile, including:

Class 10 and Class 12 academic performance
Entrance test score
English proficiency
Personal Interview
Micro-Presentation
Extra-curricular achievements

Selected candidates receive an admission offer from TAPMI. Admission is confirmed only after fee payment, document verification and completion of all admission formalities within the given deadline.

Eligibility Criteria for BBA Admission at TAPMI

Candidates must have passed Class 12 / HSC / 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Candidates should have English as a compulsory subject in Class 12 / HSC / 10+2.

Students appearing for Class 12 can also apply, provided they meet the final eligibility requirements at the time of admission.

For shortlisting, candidates are generally expected to have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.

In addition, candidates should have appeared for at least one of the accepted entrance tests:
