IIFT Kakinada - IPM Program - Selection Process, Eligibilty Criteria, Syllabus and Paper Pattern

The IIFT Kakinada IPM Program is a Five-Year Integrated Programme in Management offered by the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). It is designed for students who want to pursue management education directly after Class 12. The program focuses on building a strong foundation in management, economics, business, analytics and international trade. Admission to the IIFT Kakinada IPM program is based on the institute’s selection process, which may include entrance exam scores, eligibility criteria and further evaluation as prescribed by IIFT.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to the IIFT Kakinada IPM Program is based on the IPMAT Indore score. IIFT does not conduct a separate entrance test for this program. Students who want admission to IIFT Kakinada IPM must appear for IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore and must also fill the separate IIFT IPM application form.

Candidates must complete two important application steps:

First, they must register and appear for IPMAT Indore.

Second, they must separately apply for the IIFT Kakinada IPM Program through the IIFT admission portal.

The official website for IIFT admission is:

iift.ac.in

Students can go to the Current Admissions section on the IIFT website and apply for the Integrated Programme in Management at Kakinada Campus.

The IIFT IPM application fee is approximately:

General / OBC / EWS: ₹2,000

SC / ST / PwD: ₹1,000

At the time of filling the IIFT IPM form, students may need details such as their IPMAT Indore application number, personal details, academic details, category details and contact information.

Students are generally required to upload documents such as:

Class 10 marksheet
Class 12 marksheet, if available
Category certificate, if applicable
IPMAT Indore application form/details
Photograph and signature, if required

After the application process is completed, IIFT prepares the shortlist/merit list based on the admission criteria. As per the latest available admission details, the selection process gives major weightage to the IPMAT Indore score.

The selection weightage is generally as follows:

Students should remember that filling only the IPMAT Indore form is not enough. To be considered for IIFT Kakinada IPM admission, they must also fill the separate IIFT IPM application form on the IIFT website.

The IIFT page confirms the Kakinada IPM structure as BBA in Business Analytics after 3 years and MBA in International Business after 5 years, and current admission reports list IPMAT Indore-based selection with the above fee and weightage details.
