MIT WPU - BBA Program
Selection Process, Eligibility Criteria, Syllabus and Paper Pattern
The MIT-WPU BBA Program is an undergraduate management program offered by MIT World Peace University, Pune for students who want to build a career in business, management, marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, analytics and related fields. Admission to the BBA program is based on the MIT-WPU CET Entrance Examination and Personal Interaction (PI) conducted by MIT-WPU. A valid MAH BBA CET score may also be considered for the selection process, but candidates still need to appear for the Personal Interaction round as per the university’s admission process.
The BBA Admission Process for MIT WPU has 2 Stages:
Stage 1: Entrance Exams

The older name UGPET is sometimes used, but the current official entrance exam name is MIT-WPU CET. For BBA admission, students should refer to it as MIT-WPU CET General UG.

Personal Interaction (PI)
The entrance test is conducted online, and students can appear from home or any convenient place using a laptop or mobile with a stable internet connection.

Marking Scheme
The CBT is conducted for 100 marks. The section-wise marks are divided across General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Basic Mathematics, Basic English and Computer Fundamentals.
Negative marking is generally not highlighted in the basic exam pattern. Students should still check the final test instructions/admit card before appearing for the exam.

MAH BBA CET Paper Pattern
The latest exam is conducted as a common CET for courses such as BBA, BMS, BBM, BCA and BHMCT. The exam is conducted in online computer-based test mode and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions.

Candidates get 1 mark for every correct answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions.

Stage 2: Personal Interview/Interaction Round
The second stage of the MIT-WPU BBA selection process is the Personal Interaction (PI) round. It is conducted by MIT-WPU after the entrance exam/score-based shortlisting process.
Who Has to Appear for PI
Candidates applying through MIT-WPU CET have to appear for the PI round.
Candidates applying with a valid MAH BBA CET score may also be considered for selection, but they still have to appear for the MIT-WPU Personal Interaction round.
PI Duration
The Personal Interaction round is generally conducted for around 15 minutes, as per the allotted schedule.
PI Marks
The PI round carries 50 marks.

Format of PI
The candidate interacts with the interview panel.
Questions may be based on the candidate’s introduction, academic background, interests, career goals, reason for choosing BBA, reason for choosing MIT-WPU, current affairs and basic business awareness.
The PI is not only a knowledge test. It is also used to understand the candidate’s communication ability, confidence, maturity and suitability for the program.
After PI
After the PI round, MIT-WPU prepares the final selection list based on the applicable selection criteria. Selected candidates receive a provisional admission offer. Admission is confirmed only after fee payment, document verification and completion of all admission formalities.
Steps to Apply for the MIT WPU CET:
The current entrance exam name used by MIT-WPU for BBA admission is MIT-WPU CET, not UGPET. Admission to the BBA program is based on the MIT-WPU CET Entrance Examination and Personal Interaction (PI). A valid MAH BBA CET score may also be considered, but the candidate still needs to appear for the PI round conducted by MIT-WPU.

The application form fee is approximately ₹2,000.
Steps to Apply
- Visit the MIT-WPU Admissions Portal: admissions.mitwpu.edu.in
- Fill the initial enquiry/registration form with basic details.
- After registration, the candidate receives a Login ID and Password.
- Login to the student dashboard and fill the complete application form.
- Select the desired BBA program/specialization.
- Enter personal details, academic details and contact details carefully.
- Upload the required documents as per the admission portal instructions.
- Pay the application form fee of approximately ₹2,000.
- After successful application, the candidate receives the MIT-WPU CET test link/date on the student dashboard or through official communication.
- Appear for the MIT-WPU CET Entrance Examination as per the allotted schedule.
- Check the result/merit status on the student dashboard.
- If shortlisted, appear for the Personal Interaction (PI) round.
- Selected candidates receive a Provisional Offer Letter.
- Complete the first installment fee payment and document verification process.
- After verification, the candidate receives the final admission confirmation/offer details from MIT-WPU.
